The social neuroscience of human-robot interactions

  • Ruud investigates the representation of social cognition before and after a 5-day socialising intervention with a robot (fMRI, MVPA) [ongoing] [PTRSB2019]

  • Laura studies the developmental aspects of mentalising of artificial agents (fMRI) [ongoing]

  • Michaela and Ruud map the socialness gradient in the brain during anthropomorphism and dehumanisation (fMRI, RSA/MVPA) [ongoing]

  • Anna and Ruud investigate how specific aspects of a social interaction, including real interactions with a humanoid robot, are reflected in the brain (fNIRS) [ongoing]

  • Ruud, Michaela and Laura test the relationship between dispositional anthropomorphism and Theory-of-Mind activation (fMRI) [ongoing]
